Real Madrid stars splash out £47,000 on special mattress to reduce injury risks

Real Madrid players have splashed out £47,000 on a special mattress to help give them an advantage over their rivals.

Vispring have been the 'home' of handmade beds in the United Kingdom since 1901 and boast clintelles which include Queen Mary and suites in the Titanic.

Their luxurious beds are said to help footballers recover faster and reduce the risk of suffering injuries.

The British company have sold mattress to a number of Real Madrid players, according, to the owner of the Vispring Madrid store Alfonso del Saz.

'He took two 120x220 mattresses. This other one also took big beds, we changed all the ones he had at home.' he said without naming any players.
