Mason Mount smiles as he returns to Man Utd training after 4 MONTHS out
Mason Mount has been pictured in Manchester United training after four months out of action with a calf injury.
United's £60m signing from Chelsea has struggled to get his career going at Old Trafford since joining the club last summer.
The England international made the last of his 12 appearances for the club against Luton back in November, before he was injured in training.
Mount had been expected to be back by now only to face setbacks in his recovery to fitness.
But he now appears to be closing in on a return and seemed in jovial spirits as he trained alongside his team-mates on the pitch at Carrington on Tuesday.
He was spotted with a beaming smile on his face as he walked out alongside Diogo Dalot and Antony.
Other pictures showed him running alongside his team-mates and also getting involved in some on-ball work, suggesting he could be closing in on a return to action for the Red Devils.
United confirmed the news on the club’s official website saying that Mount has worked hard to regain fitness and ‘remained upbeat and positive throughout his rehabilitation’.
