Barcelona are reportedly 'closely following' Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi with a move for Julian Alvarez looking unlikely.
It’s no secret that Barcelona are looking to sign a new striker this summer, with Robert Lewandowski leaving once his contract expires at the end of June.
Atletico Madrid’s Alvarez, 26, had been the priority target, but Diego Simeone’s side have no intention of selling, and even turned down a €150 million offer from rivals Real.
According to Diario Sport Barcelona have now turned their attention to Bournemouth’s Junior Kroupi.
The 19-year-old is one of the summer’s hottest commodities after a breakout season in the Premier League.
It’s understood that Bournemouth value him at around £80 million, with several other top flight English sides keen on a move.
Junior Kroupi scored 13 goals in his 33 Premier League games last season.
